01 · Collection and use of personal information

We may collect certain personal information from End Users as authorised by our Customers for the purpose of providing our services. This information may include, but is not limited to, names, contact details, and the content of conversations held with a Digital Expert.

We will only use the collected personal information for the purpose of providing the requested services, as specified by the Customer. We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy, as required by law, or with the explicit consent of the End User.

02 · Information we collect through the Site

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we collect information about the pages you view, what websites or search terms referred you, and how you interact with the Site. We refer to this as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using cookies (data files placed on your device, often including an anonymous unique identifier), log files (which record your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps), and web beacons, tags and pixels (electronic files that record how you browse the Site).

When you book a demo, submit an enquiry form, or start a conversation with a Digital Expert on the Site, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, business email address, phone number, organisation and the substance of your enquiry. We refer to this as “Enquiry Information”.

03 · How we use your personal information

We use Enquiry Information to respond to you, arrange and conduct demonstrations, provide the services you have asked for, and, where it aligns with the preferences you have shared with us, to send you information about our products and services.

We use Device Information to help screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise the Site — for example, by generating analytics about how visitors browse and interact with it, and to assess the effectiveness of our marketing.

04 · Sharing your personal information

We share personal information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Site and Platform. These include Google Analytics, which helps us understand how visitors use the Site — you can read how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/privacy and opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information, or to otherwise protect our rights.

05 · Advertising

We may use your personal information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. For more information about how targeted advertising works, visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s educational page at networkadvertising.org. You can opt out of some of these services through the Digital Advertising Alliance’s portal at optout.aboutads.info, or through the advertising settings of the relevant platform.

Please note that we do not alter the Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

06 · Data security

We employ reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal information.

We will promptly notify affected Customers in the event of a data breach affecting the personal information of their End Users, and will assist them in complying with their legal obligations, including any obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

07 · Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or for as long as required by law. Once the purpose of collection is fulfilled, we securely dispose of or anonymise the personal information.

08 · Your rights

You may exercise your rights concerning your personal information as provided by applicable data protection laws. This includes the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, and to complain about our handling of it.

Where a Digital Expert has been deployed by one of our Customers and has collected your information on that Customer’s behalf, you should contact that Customer directly in the first instance. As a platform provider, we will assist our Customers in fulfilling their obligations regarding End User rights.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected, updated or deleted. Where we process your information, we do so in order to fulfil a contract with you or to pursue the legitimate business interests described above. Please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe.

09 · Updates and changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will notify Customers of any material changes by appropriate means. Continued use of the Site or Platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10 · Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
